Call for AFSH Board of Trustee Vice Chair Applications

The AFSH Nominating Committee is now soliciting qualified candidates to serve as Vice Chair on the AFSH Board of Trustees. The AFSH seeks candidates with a diverse range of professional and volunteer experience. Candidate attributes can include, but are not limited to, previous service on a nonprofit board, fundraising and development experience and past leadership in ASSH/AFSH activities.   • Commitment to furthering the AFSH mission.
  • Willingness to contribute to, and raise funds in support of, AFSH initiatives.


The Vice Chair is elected by the ASSH Council for a term of two years and succeeds to the office of Chair. Term begins on October 1, 2016 and will conclude on September 15, 2018.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the online application by August 15. Includes:
    CV (not to exceed four pages in length).
    Description of current/past leadership roles with ASSH/AFSH.
    Description of fundraising experience or interest in supporting AFSH efforts.
    Brief summary of goals/vision for future of the Foundation.
    Up to two letters of recommendation from an ASSH Active Member (may also email directly to [email protected])
  2. Complete the AFSH Conflict of Interest Form after reviewing the COI Policy.
