Honduras: Day Four

We screened a 6-year-old girl with Sprengel’s deformity and severe thoracic scoliosis with unbalanced posture and gait.  The child has started to develop shortness of breath which is expected to worsen as her curve progresses.

Monday… Day 3 at La Providencia, Day 2 of surgery.   Our day started with flexibility once again when our first patient failed to show up.  Due to many family issues and transportation difficulties, we knew the patient was coming.
