The Robert A. Chase Library and Museum lives on the ground floor of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) office building in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It was named in honor of hand surgeon Robert A. Chase, MD, an innovative educator, surgeon, archivist, and historian. The Library was established as a place where history, literature, art and science meet together and is dedicated to surgery of the hand and upper limb.
