The goal of the Clinical Investigators Workshop is to bring together clinicians actively involved in clinical research for the purpose of discussing methodological issues relating to their work. The input of experienced investigators is intended to help solve problems of work in progress, lead to the development of new and interesting research questions and foster collaboration among the attendees for future clinical research endeavors. Presentations will be made by those who have received AFSH Clinical Research grants.
Presentations will be given in 20-30 minute segments comprising of a 5-7 minute summary of their project and a 15-25 minute period of discussion depending on the issue. This will be moderated by the chairman of the session. The presentations should only be works-in-progress or proposals for projects.
This meeting is open to anyone with an interest in discussing clinical research methodology issues.
Fee: $25; waived for presenters
