Active Member: A fully licensed surgeon with additional board certification in the specialty of hand surgery who is a full member of ASSH.

 

Candidate Member: A fully licensed surgeon who has completed additional specialty training in hand surgery.  Some Candidate Members are also board certified in the specialty of hand surgery.

 

International Member:  A hand surgeon who resides outside of the United States and has been practicing at least 5 years in the specialty of hand surgery. 

 

Note: Physicians residing in Canada are eligible for ASSH Active or International Membership.
