Tendons
Origin: Spines of lower 6 thoracic vertebrae, lumbodorsal fascia, crest of ilium, muscular slips from lower 3 or 4 ribs
Insertion: Floor of bicipital groove of the Humerus
Function: Adducts, extends, and medially rotates the shoulder along with other Muscles which produce shoulder Adduction, other Muscles which produce shoulder Extension and other Muscles which produce shoulder Internal (medial) Rotation
Nerve: Thoracodorsal Nerve
Artery: Descending scapular (transverse cervical) and Subscapular artery
