Clinical Guidelines and Performance Measures
Several ASSH members worked with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons to develop clinical guidelines to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The initial guidelines cover the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome and the prevention of symptomatic pulmonary embolisms. There is also a statement on minimally invasive surgery.
