Onsite registration opens September 1, 2009
The registration fee for the 2009 Combined Meeting of the ASSH & ASHT includes:
- Admittance to scientific sessions (keynotes, symposia and paper presentations)
- Admittance to breakout sessions (instructional courses, interactive case reviews, industry product demonstration workshops)
- Admittance to the Exhibit Hall (scientific and commercial exhibits, poster presentations, and Video Theater)
- Boxed lunch Thursday-Saturday
NOTE: Additional fees apply for the Residents and Fellows Conference, precourses, social events and tours.
International Registration
International registration fees are applicable for areas outside North America. North America is defined as the United States, its possessions (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands), Canada, Mexico, the trust territory of the Pacific Islands, the Marshall Islands, Bermuda and the federated states of Micronesia.
Spouse/Guest Registration
The spouse/guest registration fee includes admittance to the Spouse/Guest Lounge, continental breakfasts from Thursday through Saturday and concierge service. This year, all spouse and guest attendees are welcome to attend the President’s guest lecture during the general Scientific Session.
NOTE: If you are a spouse/guest who is also a healthcare professional (doctor, nurse, hand therapist), please note that in order to receive continuing education credits, you must pay the appropriate registration fee in the appropriate professional category.
Exhibits-Only Pass
If you are not registered to attend the 2009 Combined Meeting of the ASSH & ASHT but wish to walk the exhibit hall you are required to purchase an exhibits-only pass. A discount is available for those who purchase a pass in advance of the meeting. Learn more.
Important Tax Information (ASHT)
As a 501 (c) (3) organization, the national dues or education registration are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes. However, they may be deductible as ordinary business expenses. Please consult your financial advisor. For additional questions contact the ASHT at info@asht.org.
Registration Options
Online Registration
Register for the 2009 Combined Annual Meeting of ASSH and ASHT online by using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express).
Advanced / Web Registration has closed at this time. Onsite registration will open September 1, 2009.
Register by Fax
If paying by credit card, simply complete all applicable parts of the registration form, including your selection of instructional courses (Thur-Sat), Product Demonstration Workshops (Wed-Fri), Interactive Case Review (Sat), as well as the optional pre-courses and tours (if desired) and fax it to the ASSH Central Office at (847) 384-1435.

Register Onsite
Anyone wishing to register after the 5:00 PM (central time), August 14, 2009 deadline, may register onsite in San Francisco. Meeting registration opens at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, and runs through 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 5. To register onsite you may use a major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express) or bring a personal or company check or money order. Onsite professional registrations (received September 1 or later) will be charged an extra $50 late fee. NOTE --some sessions do sell out in advance of the meeting. Sorry, due to the complexity of the registration form, phone registrations are not accepted!
