The Golden Gate Bridge is the quintessential symbol of San Francisco, and this year, this famous engineering marvel is also the symbol for the 2009 Combined Annual Meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT). This year’s theme, Bridges: Connecting the Past and Future, allows us to recognize the interconnectivity of our work, as well as continue to grow the individual skill sets of each expertise.
