U.S. Bone & Joint Decade Young Investigators Initiative and Workshop

This program is designed to provide early-career clinical investigators an opportunity to work with experienced researchers in our field and to assist them in securing funding and other survival skills required for pursuing an academic career.

Clinician-Scientist Development Program

The future of our specialty depends in part on the productivity of clinician scientists who make important discoveries and innovations that can help the hand surgery community to continue to improve the health, well-being and function of their patients.  This program began in 2003 and was developed to introduce residents to the clinician scientist timeline, to match them with senior clinician scientists to form mentor relationships, and to provide essential information for practitioners contemplating a career as a clinician scientist.
