2013 International Membership Applicant Qualifications

Any individual who meets the following qualifications is eligible to apply for International Membership: 

• Shall have contributed to the understanding and/or treatment of disorders of the upper limb
   
• Shall be of high moral, ethical, and professional standing as attested to by two (2) ASSH Active members
   

• Shall reside outside the United States
   

• Shall have been in active practice in his or her specialty for a minimum of five (5) years
   
• Shall be a member of a major medical specialty society (i.e. national Hand Society, or if not available, national orthopaedic, plastic or general surgery society) serving the specialty in his or her country,
  if applicable
