Tom is responsible for the Hand Society’s very successful Hand Surgery Update 3. He keeps busy with all kinds of Society work, and keeping track of his three daughters, Stacey, Kelly and Kristen. Tom is a big Washington Huskies fan, and enjoys watching his former patients help the teams score.

Andy immigrated to the United States at 15, where he benefited from the finest American education and opportunities, and became a general surgeon, then plastic surgeon, and then hand surgeon. He spends his cherished spare time with his wife, Terri, and their three children, Jon, Jackie and Josh. Andy also enjoys opera, politics and Chinese food.

Peter is married to Yvonne (pediatrician) and they have 5 kids (Krista at Harvard, Schuyler at Colby, Petra at Brown, Anders & Barrett in High School). Peter collects ancient Greek coins, enjoys overseas travel, weightlifting, and sitting at the lake house in Sunapee, NH. He serves as a Trustee of RISD and the American Numismatic Society and is Dean of Admissions for the Alpert Medical School at Brown.

MIB has been married to his lovely wife Marci for eight years and has two beautiful children named Jonah and Ilana. He enjoys collecting and drinking the wines of Peidmont, the Napa Valley and Burgundy. He would not turn down a witty Beaujolais, if offered, though. MIB expresses his profound admiration and appreciation of his many teachers and mentors in the ASSH, on whose Council he is honoured to serve.

Bobby, a native Virginian, has been in Charlottesville for nearly 20 years. He loves live music and enjoys going to as many concerts he can with his lovely wife Sandhya. He is a fanatic Washington Redskins fan and frequently makes the 3 hour drive on Sundays to DC to watch his beloved Skins lose. Bobby and Sandhya, have 2 energetic children, Vijay and Vaya who keep them busy with soccer games and swim meets. Family time includes tailgating before Virginia Cavalier football games, movie night and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Leonard Goldner, James Urbaniak, Harold Kleinert and Kenya Tsuge. His children, Celia and Ben, and wife Helga help keep him balanced. He enjoys Formula One auto racing and the world under the operating microscope.
