2009 Honoree: Chinese Hand Surgery Society
In the spirit of international cooperation, the ASSH has instituted the International Guest Hand Society program to recognize our global partners in the hand surgery community. On behalf of the ASSH Council and the 2009 ASSH Annual Meeting Program Committee we are pleased to announce that the Chinese Hand Surgery Society will be our honored guests at the 2009 Combined Meeting of the ASSH and ASHT. As an honoree, the CHSS will be acknowledged in the opening ceremony and all attendees from China will be invited to a private reception. The ASSH International Relations Committee, chaired by Alexander Shin, MD will work closely with the CHSS in developing all aspects of its scientific program, including the featured International Guest Society posters. All CHSS members will also receive a discounted registration fee of $650 to attend the 2009 Combined Annual Meeting of the ASSH and ASHT. International Guest Hand Society Posters
As a part of our International Guest Hand Society program the ASSH and ASHT will feature a special poster section within the exhibit hall, highlighting scientific contributions from the Chinese Hand Surgery Society. Up to 20 submissions will be accepted as a part of the International Guest Society Poster Section which will be displayed throughout the Combined Annual Meeting of the ASSH and ASHT, September 3-5, 2009.
