This week, a member drew attention to "A Show of Hands: Photographs from the Collection of Henry Buhl," an upcoming auction at Sotheby's. On December 12 and 13, Sotheby's will be auctioning a portion of Buhl's collection of hand images from such artists as Alfred Stieglitz, Man Ray, Dorthea Lange, and lesser-known names. Proceeds will benefit the Association of Community Employment Programs for the Homeless (ACE), Buhl's charity.
