 1.

not coming . too much time and expense

 2.

i hope it does not but , a cheaper hotel rate would be better bc when you spend a few nights especially if you want to even see a bit of the town it starts to add up and I am employed by the university and funding is always minimal ,,,,,,,,thanks

 3.

The annual meeting is very good...plan to attend regardless

 4.

have to speak anyway...airlines have started to cut flight costs to try and boost travel

 5.

this is my most important meeting of the year... I will do all I can to make adjustments in other areas of my practice before missing the ASSH Annual Meeting

 6.

I attend every third Annual Meeting regardless of the state of my practice or the economy in general. I can not afford to attend more frequently than the minimum 1/3.

 7.

I will attend. My wife will also attend.

 8.

"Must" be there to support President Koman

 9.

But the timing of the meeting prior to labor day will, as that week has been part of my summer vacation with family and friends.

 10.

Your letter informing me I need to attend that meeting in order to remain a member provided sufficient reason to not renew. No other professional organization is so venal as to have such a requirement.

 11.

I would never miss the San Francisco meeting!

 12.

I haven't missed a single meeting in 31 years. I don't plan to let a little dip in the economy break that string.

 13.

Am still planning on attending but the economy is definitely going to be a factor in my final decision

 14.

for those of us who are pure hand surgeons we are at the low end of the reimbursement food chain. Tuition, food , travel, and housing adds up quickly. For those of us who are traveling cross country, it is tempting to stay a couple more days and do some tourist things. My income is down. People are putting off surgery for things they can tolerate much more than in the past. I hate to miss the meeting. Have been to every one since I became a member.

 15.

I will attend on educational leave for my fellowship.

 16.

I am not coming because of the expense of traveling to the west coast.

 17.

location and ability to visit with other hand surgeons still major reason to attend

 18.

have to go to keep membership in ASSH!

 19.

Still watching...

 20.

Wasn't going anyway. This question is phrased as a negative. I think that some people may click "disagree", when they meant "agree".
