The Industry Guide is a comprehensive listing of hand and upper extremity vendors that serve the hand care profession. Designed by surgeons for surgeons, the Industry Guide is your “one-stop-shop” to learn more about upper extremity solutions to treat hand conditions, manage your practice, and discover new products and services.
For industry representatives, the Industry Guide offers a year-round marketplace to share information about products or services that sets them apart from the rest.
What happened to the ASSH Resource Guide?
The old ASSH
Resource Guide offered a simple “yellow pages” listing of companies but was difficult to navigate and the search functionality ineffective. We listened by starting from scratch to build the Hand-e Industry Guide which offers ASSH
Members a lot more features including a mobile friendly site, smart search, integrated listings with Hand-e topics, and new product categories that were designed by surgeons rather than by the companies.
What content is included in the Industry Guide?
Industry Guide content includes vendor contact information, product pages/brochures, links to find a sales representative, instructional videos, industry events calendar to learn about upcoming tradeshows, product workshops, training events, and industry news site to read about new product launches, regulatory updates, and more.
Where does Industry Guide content come from?
All product content is supplied and updated by industry. Events and news postings may include updates from the Society and from ASSH
How does the Industry Guide integrate with Hand-e?
As you navigate the Hand-e curriculum, click on the “Products/Vendors” tab to see related results for vendor profiles, product listings, images, and videos. New content is being added all the time!
The Industry Guide connect you to the commercial products, tools, and services you need. With just a click on Hand-e you can open up the Industry Guide for related content and information. Whether you are browsing by curriculum topic or using a keyword search, the new Industry Guide will help you find the information you need.
What are the Industry Guide Product Categories?
These categories replace the former “exhibition categories” found on the resource guide. A select group of surgeon leaders identified a new set of categories with the surgeon perspective in mind. The Industry Guide has been designed for easy browsing, focused on product solutions and surgical procedures.
