The American Society for Surgery of the Hand Welcomes Martin I. Boyer, MD as New President

CHICAGO — The American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), a nonprofit organization to the care of the hand and upper extremity, and its governing council is pleased to announce Martin I. Boyer, MD, FRCS(C) as its new president.  Dr. Boyer was initiated as the 74th president of ASSH at their 2019 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The ASSH is requesting applications for Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Hand Surgery (JHS).  This position receives a stipend from ASSH with a five-year term beginning on January 1, 2021.  The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of JHS is responsible for soliciting, reviewing and selecting articles for publication, serving as the head of the Editorial Board and working with the Journal Advisory Group (JAG) to carry out the editorial vision.
