Building Your Practice Website - An ASSH Member Benefit
Use of ASSH Public Education Materials
ASSH members only may use the
patient education materials from the ASSH website on their website.
ASSH members may modify the content, but if they do, they must
say "Material modified from the American Society for Surgery of the
Hand." If the content is not modified, members must note that the
material is "Copyright of the American Society for Surgery of
the Hand."
Please hyperlink any mention of the ASSH name back to www.assh.org.
Non-ASSH members may not use the ASSH public education materials
on their personal or practice websites. Non members may link to the ASSH
website, provided it is clear that the site is in no way associated with
ASSH.
Building a Site with AAOS
ASSH Members: The American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons provides you with the tools to build your own website.
Visit the AAOS Website, click on
the Member Services link in the top toolbar and then in
the right hand column under Services click on the
"Build Your Own Website" link, then scroll down to the
"Physician Web Site Development/Maintenance Login"
link. You will need to go to the ASSH Member logon section and
enter your Last Name and then assh followed by your 6 digit ASSH ID
number (assh######). Contact the ASSH Central Office 847/384-8300
or membership@assh.org if you
need your ID number information.
Final Details
Once you've built your site, add your site url to your ASSH profile. If you
are an ASSH Active or International member, a link to your site will
appear along with your other contact information on the Find-a-Hand
Surgeon pages of the ASSH website. (Per ASSH Policy, Candidate
members are not featured in Find-a-Hand Surgeon.)
