Sumner L. Koch Award

Presented by the Chicago Society for Surgery of the Hand in honor of Sumner Koch, MD, who made many contributions to the field of hand surgery and to ASSH as a founding member and the second president of the Society (1947-48). This award is presented to the author of the presentation judged to have "the greatest future clinical application to the practice of hand surgery." Note: Award winners are announced during the following Annual Meeting so reviewers can hear all presentations and thoughtfully review each in consideration of the award.
