Description:

This precourse will provide the audience with a thorough overview of ulnar sided wrist injuries and discuss specific treatment options for both commonly treated conditions and complex pathology.  Emphasis will be placed on acute injuries, instability, arthritis and reconstructive/salvage procedures.  Through procedure oriented lectures and panel discussions, we will provide the audience with the tools necessary to treat ulnar sided wrist complaints.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be able to:
  • Define common and complex conditions that affect the ulnar side of the wrist.
  • Learn how to recognize ulnar sided wrist complaints and how to apply appropriate treatment options.
  • Demonstrate treatment options for ulnar sided wrist instability, arthritis and acute traumatic injuries.
  • Compare different salvage options for DRUJ, TFCC and LT ligament injuries.
