Description:

The Adrian E. Flatt Residents and Fellows Conference in Hand Surgery is specifically geared toward hand surgery fellows and residents in orthopaedic, plastic and general surgery and allows paper participants to present their work on subjects within the specialty of hand surgery. The opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of information makes this conference a valuable resource for all attendees.

During the scientific paper sessions, members of the Residents and Fellows Conference Program Committee will judge presentation style and content, leading to the announcement of the Joseph H. Boyes Award for best paper. The award recipient will receive a cash prize along with an opportunity to present his or her paper during a general scientific session of the ASSH Annual Meeting following the Residents and Fellows Conference.

Learning Objectives:
• Discuss and critique presentations of clinical advances and research findings in hand and upper extremity surgery.
• Use the information presented in this educational forum to advance office practice and the treatment of patients.
